Biographical Information

我获得了罗伯茨卫斯理学院的学士学位,主修心理学和传播学双学位. Upon graduation, I began graduate school at Alfred University, obtaining both my MA and PsyD in School Psychology. 然后,我开始以副心理学家的身份在发展障碍办公室(OPWDD)工作. 我的职责主要包括监测35名以上发育性残疾患者的心理健康状况, developing behavior support plans for problematic behaviors, and conducting individual and group therapies.

Though my time with OPWDD was valuable, 我有兴趣做更多与儿童和青少年有关的临床工作. 一年后,我辞去了OPWDD的工作,开始独立的私人执业. 在接下来的几年里,我在大罗切斯特地区与儿童和青少年一起工作, primarily doing play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and parent consultation.

When I am not busy working, I love spending every minute with my husband Nathan, and two young children, Mira and Eli. 我认为做母亲帮助我在工作中更有效率,帮助我对生活中什么是重要的保持健康的看法. My passion will always be for helping people, whether that is obtained through direct clinical work, or educating those who will be helping others in the future.
